Refund policy

In order to maintain the highest level of quality for returned pieces while providing the most flexible experience for our clients, ETHEREAL HAIR offers a 3-day return window for you to try on your Topper/Wig in the comfort of your own home. This means you have 3 days (which includes the day you received your piece in the mail) to request a return and provide tracking confirmation.  All returns for refunds will be less a 10% restocking fee (a 15% restocking fee will be enforced for purchases made with an installment payment plan option such as ‘Affirm - Pay Over Time’ and ‘Shop Pay Installments’).

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn outside the home or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.  To be specific this means:

  • All hair pieces must be returned in their original condition.No altering of hair (washing, styling, cut, color, thinning, product or fibers applied, etc.) No altering of cap construction (cutting lace, removing and/or moving combs/clips, etc.)
  • The care tag must be secured and attached to the Topper/Wig as it was sent out.  No removing of the care tag and reapplying the security closure.
  • All packaging must be returned in its original condition (boxes, silk bags, care cards, etc.)Please note that packaging may change from time to time and you are only required to send back what you received.
  • Any complimentary items included with your Topper/Wig purchase (wig grips, gifts, hair accessories, etc.) must also be returned.
  • If any packaging or complimentary components are damaged and/or missing or not returned a $15 fee will be deducted from your refund.

 

To start a return, you can contact us at returns@etherealhairtoppers.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a confirmation, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues 
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is damaged during shipping or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items 
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like Hair Care items, Custom Orders, Items marked as FINAL SALE on the website, and any items purchased with a special discount code in which the terms of that discount code state returns are not accepted (always refer to terms of a discount code to verify if returns are accepted with use).

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.

 

Exchanges 
ETHEREAL HAIR no longer offers Returns for Exchanges.

 

Refunds 
Upon receiving and inspecting your return, you’ll be refunded on your original payment method. Returns for refunds will be less a 10% restocking fee (a 15% restocking fee will be enforced for purchases made with an installment payment plan option such as ‘Affirm - Pay Over Time’ and ‘Shop Pay Installments’).  Original shipping and return shipping charges will not be refunded. Please allow 2-3 days for credit to be refunded back to the original method of payment and 7-10 days for the credit to appear on your statement or in your account.
